Admission to IFAC - International Federation of Accountants

Accomplishing admission in November 2001 of the National Chamber of Statutory Auditors to the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) located in New York was the greatest success of the bodies of the third term of office, especially of the National Council of Statutory Auditors.
It has been the basic postulate of the Statutory Auditors’ environment, to get admission to this organisation, since calling the 1st Assembly. Thanks to this membership the National Chamber of Statutory Auditors belongs to the international accountant family and Polish Statutory Auditors can benefit from their foreign colleagues’ experiences and attainments, the proof for which there was a numerous participation of Polish Statutory Auditors in the 16th World Congress of Accountants held in November 2002 in Hong Kong.
The Congress theme, considered in plenary sessions, workshops and expositions on accountant profession, was: "Knowledge-based Economy and the Accountant".
